Il sorpasso da parte di Facebook \u00e8 notizia recente, tanto che ancora nel mese di maggio, comScore segnalava che i due social network erano <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insidefacebook.com\/2009\/06\/15\/comscore-facebook-passed-myspace-in-the-us-for-the-first-time-in-may\/\">testa a testa<\/a> quanto a visitatori negli USA: 70,28 milioni per Facebook, +97% rispetto a un anno prima, e 70,26 milioni per MySpace, il 5% in meno rispetto al 2008.<br \/>\nE&#8217; molto interessante il profilo che i due giganti del social networking stanno assumendo in questa fase matura del loro sviluppo. Un <a href=\"http:\/\/gadgetwise.blogs.nytimes.com\/2009\/07\/09\/does-social-networking-breed-social-division\/\">recente articolo del NY<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/gadgetwise.blogs.nytimes.com\/2009\/07\/09\/does-social-networking-breed-social-division\/\">Times<\/a> ha riassunto gli studi pi\u00f9 recenti in materia, <strong>delineando la teoria per cui MySpace stia assumendo una caratterizzazione di audience socio-demograficamente pi\u00f9 bassa rispetto a Facebook<\/strong>. Una tendenza evidente 1 anno fa, ma &#8211; sembra &#8211; confermata anche di recente, dopo che il boom di Facebook sembrava aver provocato un generale abbandono anche da parte degli utenti MySpace pi\u00f9 fedeli. E cos\u00ec, Facebook sarebbe il social network dei bianchi, dei college, del ceto medio-alto. E ispanici, neri, asiatici?
